Wednesday January 31 at 6:30pm - Blues & BBQ Pairing Dinner at B-Side (right down the block from Donnelly's at 5 Liftbridge Lane) featuring the Fornieri Brothers (of The East End Drifters), hosted by Dem Jones.
The Fornieri Brothers play the blues. Pete and Joe Fornieri of the East End Drifters will play and discuss various styles of blues music by their favorite blues artists including Son House, Muddy Waters, BB King, T-Bone Walker. Buddy Guy and Junior Wells, and Freddie King.
Bourbon BBQ Pulled Pork Potato Salad
Bourbon Hickory smoked pulled pork in a house-made cherry BBQ sauce, served over a loaded potato salad, drizzled with a jalapeno sour cream.
The Drink: Southern Gin And Tonic - Cilantro, cucumber, Nolets gin, fresh lime and tonic.
Blackberry BBQ Brisket
Tender, slow cooked blackberry BBQ brisket over sweet cream corn cornbread.
The Drink: Apricot Sweet Tea - Black pepper syrup, unsweetened tea, basil, Southern Tier vodka and an apricot simple syrup.
Sriracha Short Ribs
Sriracha dry-rubbed short ribs brushed with a honey BBQ sauce, served over a collar greens and rice fritter. Topped with a honey mustard aioli.
The Drink: Charleston Brown Water Society Punch - A Bourbon, rum, fresh oj, lemon, honey water, demerara syrup and soda water punch.
Iron Smoke Whisky and Lime Chicken Slider
Fairport’s Iron Smoke Whisky and lime marinated blackened boneless chicken thighs with a cilantro/bacon/jalapeno slaw on a toasted slider roll. Served with house-made potato chips with a smoky blue cheese dipping sauce.
The Drink: The Tallulah - Iron Smoke Whisky, peanut orgeat and Coca-Cola.
Sweet Potato Pecan Pound Cake
Warm sweet potato and candied pecan pound cake with vanilla ice cream, amaretto whipped cream and a pecan caramel drizzle.
The Drink: Pecan Pie Coffee - Amaretto, Frangelico, and coffee (decaf) topped with hand whipped cream and a salted caramel drizzle.
